1. Delete From Inside The App

This is the fastest method. The in-app flow authenticates you and begins the deletion process immediately.

  1. Open Zcribbler and sign in.
  2. Go to your Profile tab.
  3. Tap Settings (gear icon) → Account.
  4. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete My Account.
  5. Re-authenticate with Google or Apple when prompted.
  6. Confirm the action. Deletion starts immediately.

You'll be signed out and your account will become inaccessible right away. The retention timelines in Section 3 begin from that moment.

2. Requesting Deletion by Email

If you no longer have access to the device used to sign in, you may request deletion of your account by email.

Send an email from the address linked to your Zcribbler account to:

[email protected]

Include:

  • Your Zcribbler username (if you remember it)
  • The email address you used to sign in
  • Subject line: Account Deletion Request

We verify the request by confirming ownership of the signed-in email. We will process your deletion within 30 days and send you a confirmation once complete.

3. What Happens To Your Data

The table below shows what is deleted, what is retained, for how long, and why. Full retention details are in our Privacy Policy.

After the retention periods expire, data is permanently and irreversibly deleted. We do not retain personal data longer than necessary for the stated purposes.

4. Account Recovery

During the 180-day soft-delete window, your account is inaccessible but can be restored by emailing [email protected] from the email you used to sign in.

After the 180-day window closes, deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed. You may always create a new account with the same email, but none of your previous content will be available.

5. Third-Party Sign-In Data

Deleting your Zcribbler account does not affect your Google or Apple accounts. It only removes the connection between those accounts and Zcribbler.
